Software Configuration

No run-time configuration is supported. The deployment of services is performed at startup, from a `service.conf' file. The configuration of XMLbroker server module is accomplished at the same time by the startup shell script. In the client module, the standard Java mechanism of `-D' command line options is used to define the key-value pairs associated with a remote service. As formulated in Section 2.1.3, SOAP fault messages are not supported. We must therefore provide an alternative means to identify remotely whether XMLbroker server is running. An HTML page displaying `XMLbroker is ready for service' is sufficient.
